About these policies

These statements set out the position of EvoPoint Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12798732, at 28 Robert Street, Ynysybwl, CF37 3DU. They are written for customers, suppliers and procurement teams who need to understand how we run our business.

Modern slavery and human trafficking

This is a voluntary statement. A full statutory modern slavery statement is generally aimed at larger organisations above the applicable turnover threshold, but we publish this short policy to help with procurement and due diligence.

EvoPoint Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in its business relationships, and to taking reasonable steps to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chain.

We are a software provider. Our main suppliers provide technology, hosting, payments, professional services and software development. We expect our suppliers, contractors and business partners to comply with applicable labour, employment, anti-slavery and human rights laws.

Any concern about modern slavery, forced labour, exploitation or unethical labour practices should be reported to a director at legal@evopoint.uk. We review this policy each year, and sooner if our main suppliers change.

Anti-bribery and corruption

EvoPoint Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. Our directors, employees, contractors and representatives must not offer, promise, give, request or accept bribes or any other improper advantage.

  • Reasonable, proportionate and transparent hospitality may be acceptable where it is not intended to influence a business decision. Cash gifts and secret commissions are not permitted.
  • We take extra care in public sector and venue procurement. No improper payments, inducements or facilitation payments are permitted.
  • Business expenses, gifts and hospitality are recorded accurately and honestly.

Suspected bribery or corruption should be reported to a director straight away at legal@evopoint.uk. Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith is not permitted.

Anti-money laundering and financial crime

EvoPoint Ltd is a software provider. We do not provide regulated financial services, and this is a basic statement of how we guard against financial crime.

  • Customer payments are processed through Stripe unless otherwise agreed. We do not accept unexplained cash payments for software subscriptions.
  • Where appropriate, we may check a customer's identity, company details and billing information, or look into sanctions concerns or suspicious activity, before providing the service.
  • Potential fraud, stolen payment details, unusual payment patterns, sanctions concerns and attempts to misuse the platform are escalated to a director.
  • Invoices, payment records and subscription records are kept in line with our accounting and legal obligations.
  • We may refuse, suspend or end the service where we suspect financial crime, fraud, or a sanctions or legal compliance risk.

Concerns about financial crime should be reported to a director at legal@evopoint.uk.

Equality and non-discrimination

EvoPoint Ltd aims to treat customers, suppliers, users and the public fairly and with respect. The platform must not be used to harass, discriminate against or target anyone because of a protected characteristic or their personal circumstances.

Safeguarding and vulnerable persons

EvoPoint may be used at events where children or vulnerable people are present. Our customers remain responsible for their safeguarding policies, trained staff, reporting routes and statutory obligations. EvoPoint is a reporting and record-keeping tool, and it does not replace safeguarding procedures.

Emergency and safety disclaimer

EvoPoint supports incident reporting, escalation and records. It must not be presented as a replacement for the emergency services, fire procedures, venue control, first aid, security, stewarding, risk assessments, method statements, health and safety advice or professional event safety management.

EvoPoint does not guarantee safety, compliance, response times or the prevention of incidents. If someone is in immediate danger, contact onsite staff, security, first aid or the emergency services directly.

Environmental and responsible business

EvoPoint aims to use cloud-based workflows and digital reporting to reduce paper records where practical. Printed QR signage, event materials and hardware should be sourced responsibly where that is reasonable and proportionate.
